The first of 2 new transformers is being installed at Coupar Angus electricity sub-station. The purpose of the upgrades is to cope with new connections from Tullymurdoch Wind Farm (17.5MW), Welton of Creuchies Wind Farm (9.2MW) and Dronley Farm (4.99MW). The new transformers should last 50 years, and ensure there is still plenty of capacity to cope with future developments in Coupar Angus. Rab and Gerard would like to thank the residents of Precinct Street and Pleasance Road for moving their cars. Here are some photos of progress so far:
