Perth and Kinross Council has published a consultation on the future of Coupar Angus Town Hall, aka Victoria Hall. They say:
"Over the next five years significant funding is required to bring the Town Hall up to acceptable standards. In these times of budgetary constraints, Perth & Kinross Council is reviewing all community halls for which it has responsibility. These reviews will assess whether the funding required for repair is money well spent. With this in mind, we are conducting a short survey to gather basic information about the use of the hall by the local community." The consultation can be filled in online at https://consult.pkc.gov.uk/corporate-democratic-services/coupar-angus-town-hall/ (paper copies available at the Town Hall). The deadline is 31st January 2020. Sunday 1st December, 12-3pm, Burrelton Christmas Market on the Green is back for it's 11th year, craft stalls, produce, jewellery, wooden goods, knitting, cards, gin, jam, fabulous Christmas gifts and more.
Santa will be in his Grotto, there's face painting and games, hot food and drink. Come along, have lunch and enjoy a great day out. For more information see Facebook.
