A new Carbon Literacy training course will begin on Wednesday 29th August 2018 for 6 weeks, every Wednesday 7.30pm to 9pm at the Cycle Hub, Forfar Road (formerly Strathmore Bowling Club) from 29th August. Tea, coffee, biscuits supplied.

It covers all you need to know about climate change and it is suitable for anyone with an interest in this subject, regardless of level of existing knowledge.

Over 6 weeks we will have fun, informal and social meetings, using a combination of slides, short films, workshops and group discussion, we will discover the causes, effects and solutions of climate change, globally, in Scotland and locally. You will discover ways you can reduce your carbon emissions and what the benefits can be for your pocket and health as well.

The only cost is the cost of a certificate associated admin/postage, if you want one, to say that you have completed the course and are Carbon Literate (as per the Carbon Literacy Project in Manchester) This is £10.
