Perth and Kinross Council has published the final plans for new safety works in Forfar Road, which are due to begin shortly. One thing that isn't clear is what is happening about the narrow section of pavement along Forfar Road from the junction with Princeland Road. We are making inquiries and will let you know as soon as possible.

I cannot see the point of locating the safety camera / police car layby before the 30mph limit signs, at the end of the wood in Larghan Park. Very little traffic is exceeding the national speed limit there. The speeding traffic is WITHIN the 30mph limit. So any speed trap layby needs to be between the 30mph limit signs and the road to Larghan View.
